BDD: What does it take to be an intimacy coach/expert?
I can’t speak for others, however as per my own background:
I received a Bachelor of the Arts from New York University. I majored in Sociology, minored in Psychology, and had a concentration in Human Sexuality. Which basically meant that I took more classes focused on Sex and Gender than on anything else. And NYU had a lot of such courses! When I was a Junior, I fought my way into the graduate level classes, as NYU also offered a Master’s degree in Sexuality Education.
I’ve also done a 70-hour training to be a Certified Sex Educator through the San Francisco Sex Information. I spent 2.5 semesters in graduate school at San Francisco State University towards a Master’s degree in Human Sexuality, while spending the summers training as a Certified Massage Therapist. I ultimately dropped out of the grad program as I realized that the program wasn’t what I was seeking. Instead, I went to the Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality for training to become a California State Certified Sexological Bodyworker.
Around this time, I had a spiritual awakening that transformed my world, and ultimately my work. I began diving deeply into Tantra and other forms of Sacred Sexuality.
My background training started in the mind, moved to the body, and then came in the spirit. My work very much reflects this mind/body/spirit integrated approach.
Later, I began taking influence from Life Coaching, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and Hypnosis, while also exploring how to utilize media, the internet, and cutting edge technologies to impact my audience in a positive way.
However, this is sexuality. Half of my education came from education and training. The other half took place outside of the classroom through oh-so-diligent exploration and experimentation.
BDD: How do you help your clients, what’s unique about your approach?
A big part of my work is about helping individuals gain true clarity of what their ideal erotic self would be. Free from all that cultural baggage of sexual shame, guilt, and fear. Not needy nor grasping for something outside of self. Nor repressing anything either.
Who would that person be as a Being in this world. As a fantasy figure. As an archetype, a persona, or character.
And then I help them start playing with this character. Dipping their toes into it, until they can step into it and out of it as they choose. or simply step into and be it as much or all of the time that they’d like. Your sexual energy is incredibly powerful. Once you release the blocks that you hold in your body around your sexuality, you have this incredible energy to channel into literally becoming more of your fully expressed soul’s potential.
Very powerful stuff…
BDD: How would you convince a skeptic to reach out to a coach?
I’m long past trying to convince anyone of anything. When the student is ready, the teacher appears. You know if there is something in this interview that’s resonating with you. If it is, great. Contact me, and we’ll explore whether it’s a right fit or not.
BDD: Can you give us an example of a success story?
You can check out some great success stories here:

BDD: Would you ever turn anyone down? Why? Why not?
I’m at a point in my career in which I am very particular about who I will work with. It has little to do with how ‘beginner’ or ‘advanced’ you might be (there are things that I love about working with each), rather it’s about being at that point in your life in which you are truly READY! You’ve hit that point in your life where you know that you can no longer continue as you’ve been going. Enough! And you are ready to do whatever it takes to create the change that you know deep inside needs to happen. Now that is some potent energy to work with. If you’re ready, let’s go…
BDD: What’s the most valuable piece of advice you can give that applies to all?
There is so much more to our sexuality than what porn and the media tells us. Your first sexual relationship was with yourself, the last sexual relationship that you’ll have with be the one with yourself, and it’s the most consistent, as well. Treat it right. Nurture it. And most of all, never stop exploring!
BDD: How soon can we see results of coaching?
I work with a 16 session coaching program that I’ve developed. I believe it to be far more effective than one-off sessions in which neither of us knows exactly how long we’ll be seeing each other. You’ll likely start seeing ‘results’ after the first session. However, I’m not interested in helping you out a little. I am only interested in helping you make true transformational change in your life and way of being, and that takes more than a session or two. It’s a process that I’ve crafted. Stick through it, and you’ll see results beyond what you’re anticipating.
BDD: What is the number one mistake that you see people make?
Letting their ego get in the way of continuing to learn and grow.
BDD: Any books you would recommend?
“Urban Tantra” by Barbara Carellas
“The Way of the Superior Man” by David Deida
“The Guide to Getting It On” by Paul Joannides
BDD: What is the number one goal your clients usually have?
Men: Ejaculatory Control and/or Male Multiple Orgasms, and greater sexual confidence.
Women: Learning to have orgasms and/or Female Ejaculation, and overcoming sexual trauma.
BDD: What’s your take on online dating?
We’re all seeking connection. Given the amount of time that people spend online these days, it only makes sense to utilize these technologies to meet people for dating, sex, and relationships. Enjoy exploring…
